L'œuvre s'ouvre sur les lamentations d'une Reine Dorée, entité divine déchirée entre la séparation et la fusion de sa propre chair, suppliant pour l'anéantissement de son monde. Au pied de son trône brisé, le protagoniste fait face à trois hérésies : l'ère des étoiles glacées, la bénédiction de la mort, ou le chaos de la folie. Mais écrasé par le poids du choix, il vacille. L'univers se disloque alors sous son apathie. L'auditeur est traîné à travers les trois cauchemars nés de cette fracture : une cité ravagée par le sang et la nuit cosmique, un royaume noyé dans un brouillard dévoreur d'âmes, et des terres mourantes où la cendre rend fou. Le final de cet opus écrase toute noblesse : le héros n'est devenu qu'un Roi de la Nuit pitoyable et lâche. At the foot of her shattered throne, the protagonist faces three heresies: the age of freezing stars, the blessing of death, or the chaos of madness. But crushed by the weight of choice, he falters. The universe dislocates beneath his apathy. The listener is dragged through the three nightmares born of this fracture: a city ravaged by blood and cosmic night, a kingdom drowned in soul-devouring fog, and dying lands where ash breeds insanity. The finale of this opus crushes all nobility: the hero has become nothing but a pitiful, cowardly Night King. To purge this original sin, his three hells converge in one final assault to annihilate their own creator.
